Tim Casey: Songs of Desire

Tim Casey makes paintings about desire and mortality.  With titles inspired by the songs of Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, the paintings deal with wanting and having and losing.  On a formal level, the paintings explore how the perception of space is not only influenced by light, but also by emotion.
